Edradour is one of smallest distilleries in Scotland, this is a 14-year-old Edradour that's spent four years in Moscatel casks following a 10 year maturation of ten years. It's bottled at cask strength.
Strawberry jam in a Victoria sponge. Malty, golden syrup sweetness. Slight hint of hayloft with an earthy element too.
Vanilla custard tart, and more jam. Some buttery notes with oatmeal biscuit. Fresh strawberries towards the finish and a hint of that earth from the nose.
Soft, sweet conserve.
A delicious dessert-like whisky.
