Edradour 13YO 1997

A delicious 13 year old Edradour, distilled in November 1997 and finished for 3-and-a-bit years in a single Moscatel hogshead before bottling in January 2011. There are just 435 decanter bottles of this stuff, all at natural cask strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Cut hay and strawberry conserve. There are notes of soft menthol, heather root, thick sweet malt and a touch of treacle too.

Palate Creamy palate with notes of rhubarb and custard sweets, over-ripe strawberries, bruised bananas, digestive biscuits and peppermint.

Finish Thick and sweet. A decadent whisky indeed!
