Edradour 12 Year Old 2013 Sherry Cask Strength Batch #7
Batch 7 of Edradour’s much-loved 12 Year Old Cask Strength series is here, and it’s another belter. Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2025, this small batch Highland single malt comes from ten sister first-fill and second-fill oloroso sherry butts, bottled without chill filtration or added colouring at a muscular 59% ABV. Best enjoyed with a drop of water (and a bit of time to open up). Limited to 6,402 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dark fruits, cocoa powder, and a touch of polished leather.
Palate
Layers of dried fig, treacle toffee, and warm oak spice with a hint of espresso bitterness.
Finish
Long, sweet, and nutty with lingering sherry richness and gentle tannins.
