Edradour 11 Year Old 2015 - Michael Eppan Lagrein Finish 70cl Whisky

This Edradour Highland single malt was distilled in 2015 and matured for 11 years, with a finish in first-fill Lagrein wine casks from St. Michael-Eppan in northern Italy’s Alto Adige region. Lagrein might be a less familiar name on a whisky label, but Edradour is happy to make the introductions. The local red grape variety brings a dark-fruited influence, with berry, plum and subtle spice complementing Edradour’s substantial malt character. Bottled at 46% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
