Description

Edradour takes a trip through the red wine cellar with this 2015 vintage Highland single malt. Matured for 11 years, it was finished in first-fill Cabernet and Merlot wine casks from St. Michael-Eppan in Alto Adige, northern Italy. Bottled in 2026 at 46% ABV, without chill filtration or added colour.

Nose

Ripe red berries and plum, with darker fruit underneath and a generous malt sweetness. Gentle spice develops around the fruity wine notes.

Palate

Juicy red and black fruit, with plum and berry sweetness building through the middle. A little spice and a drying wine-cask edge balance the richness.

Finish

sweet malt, becoming gently drier as the fruit gives way to spice.
