A wonderful decanter full of tasty Edradour whisky, which was distilled in October 2008. It was then matured exclusively in bourbon casks for just over a decade, until its 11th birthday in October 2019. It was bottled as cask strength, a healthy 56.4% ABV for the Ibisco Decanter series.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chocolate marble cake, caramel digestives and vanilla buttercream, with toasty oak making an appearance.
Palate
Mint milk chocolate, spicy oak and more silky caramel, supported by a dusting of cocoa.
Finish
Apricot wheats and a sprinkle of brown sugar.
