We all love a good Edradour matured in a sherry cask, and clearly so do the folks at Signatory. It bottled up this 2013 vintage Highland single malt Scotch whisky after it spent a decade maturing in first-fill oloroso sherry butts (#281-284) in July 2023, presenting it at 46% and without chill-filtration for its Un-Chillfiltered series.

Nose
Sweet dark cherries, mocha coffee, orange peel, walnuts, and nutmeg.
Palate
Coffee fudge, dates, hazelnut, dried peel, and sherry-soaked sultanas.
Finish
More Christmas cake notes linger.
