Edradour 10 Year Old 2011 (cask 459) - Straight From The Cask

This single malt Scotch whisky from Edradour has been aged in a single sherry butt for ten years, between 2011 and 2022. Just look at that amber hue, hinting at the heaps of fruity, sherry flavour to be found within this impressive Highlander. Released with an outturn of 952 bottles, and presented at a natural cask strength of 58.8%.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Tawny marmalade, dried vine fruits and warm, spiced fruit cake.

Palate

Plenty of sun-dried, sherried raisins and sticky malt loaf, mingling with spiced apple compote and a twist of waxy orange zest.

Finish

The sherried, vine fruits linger, with warming spice building.
