Edradour 10 Year Old 2009 (cask 59) - Straight From The Cask
A single cask, cask strength Edradour single malt! This Highlander was matured in a single sherry butt after it was distilled in March 2009, where it remained for the next decade. It was bottled in June 2019 at 10 years of age, with a release of 953 bottles at 55% ABV. A chocolate-filled sherry bomb right here.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chai-spiced dark chocolate, with dried cherries, barley sugar and dried fruit.
Palate
Even more chocolate, raisins, warming Christmas cake notes and oily nuts.
Finish
Maple syrup and toasty oak, with sour cherry on the finish.
