Single cask single malt from Edradour, and this one is particularly heavily-sherried indeed! The whisky was filled into a sherry butt back in October 2009 and set aside to age for 10 years, before being bottled in November 2019 as part of the Straight From The Cask series. 933 bottles were produced.
Roast chestnuts, cinnamon buns and a good helping of dried fruit.
More dates and raisins, now with spiced hot chocolate and Toffee Crisp bars in support.
Lingering clove earthiness balanced by poached pear.

I was given a bottle of this in Hong Kong and sat down with 4 friends to drink it. Mistake number 1 My friends were 3 Scots and an Englishman Mistake number 2 My intention was to have a glass each then go back to drinking beer. Unfortunately it was is good we forgot the beer and drank the lot in 1 go. Everyone agreed it was a lovely malt whisky Heavey sherry notes, smooth warming and creamy. Great stuff
