Description
A well-sherried single malt from Edradour, released as part of its Straight from the Cask range. The whisky was placed into sherry butt #48 back in March 2008, then allowed to rest for 10 years before being bottled in May 2018. A release of 975 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Demerara sugar, strawberry jam, Christmas cake and toasted oak.
Palate
Nutty malt supported by layers of Cognac and raspberry notes.
Finish
Damson and sticky toffee pudding.
