This 2008 vintage Edradour 10 Year Old Highland single malt Scotch whisky was drawn from a single cask sherry butt (#42) and bottled on 14th March 2018 for the Straight from the Cask series. There's a total outturn of 1,013 bottles.
Roasted coffee beans, fresh ginger root and a touch of caraway complement a variety of dark, jammy fruits.
Soft redcurrant and caramel are livened by fizzing black pepper. There are hints of dark chocolate and hazelnut buttercream underneath.
Lots of fresh oak and winter spice remains.
