Edradour 10 Year Old 2008 (cask 164) - Straight From The Cask
A Straight From The Cask bottling of 10 year old, heavily-sherried single malt from the Edradour distillery. This intense dram was distilled in June 2008 and left to mature in sherry butt #164 until August 2018, when it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 977 bottles - each one housed in a little wooden crate.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Punchy cherry and cinnamon notes, underpinned by vanilla and cedar.
Palate
Waxy orange, raisin, menthol, a hint of savoury barley, black pepper.
Finish
Continued peppery hints and plenty of sherry.
