Sherry
A single malt from the Edradour distillery, well-known for producing some well-Sherried drams. And wouldn't you know it, this one was drawn from a Sherry butt which matured the whisky for 10 years, from December 2006 to September 2017! A release of 973 bottles, with an ABV of 59.4% (and presented with a handsome little wooden crate to house the bottle).
Roasted barley and chocolate raisins, with a handful of Christmas spices.
More chocolate, more dried fruit, more Christmas spice! A full-bodied, flavoursome whisky.
Hints of cinnamon and maple syrup last.
