Single cask Edradour, distilled in August 2006 and bottled in August 2016. It was matured in a Sherry butt for 10 years before being bottled as part of their Straight From The Cask range, with an outturn of 959 bottles.
Thick Sherried spices, with a whisper of dark chocolate hiding within.
Spice remains up front, though the rich, fruity notes develop more and more on the palate.
Lingering cigar box and vanilla-forward barley.
