The first batch of a lovely whisky from Edradour - wholly matured in Sauternes casks. This was filled into oak on December 2003 and it was bottled in September 2011.
Buttery and sweet. Sticky toffee pudding, some dates, and a little pepper, sweet wine (obviously), with these juicy, grape-like character.
Rich and syrupy, an unctuously sweet raisin flavour, some toffee, mango and pepper.
Dry and oaky, some pepper and butterscotch.
