A cask strength 30 year old release from the Eastern Highland distillery, Edradour. A thick, chewy malt distilled in 1973, there are some lovely fruit notes and a solid rum character. Indulgent.
Nose: Good body. Textured. Sublime balance. Damson jam, plummy, herbal. Rather lovely vegetal note.
Palate: Various fruits, touch of vinosity, dark rum. Cereals, spices.
Finish: Long and effortless. Cereals. Oak.
