The second release of The Art of St Andrews Collection features work by Mairi Clark, whose expressive painting of the St Andrews coastline features on the box. The 2022 limited edition whisky within has been matured in a combination of bourbon, Pedro Ximénez, and oloroso casks. Cracking stuff from Eden Mill.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Oatcakes, raising, brown sugar, and some orange zest.
Palate
Rich shortbread, with apple peel, ginger and cinnamon spice, and candied citrus.
Finish
Barley sugar sweets with peppery spice, and some toasted walnuts.
