A rare bottling of 29 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the closed Dumbarton distillery! This Sovereign bottling from Hunter Laing contains whisky drawn from a single refill barrel which was filled in March 1987 and cracked open in November 2016. 235 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Shortbread, marmalade and a touch of milk chocolate.

Palate

Icing sugar, new oak, creamy vanilla.

Finish

Lemon peels and green apples. Oak-y vanilla sticks around for a good few minutes afterwards.
