Dumbarton 29yo 1987 Bottling Note

A rare bottling of 29 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the closed Dumbarton distillery! This Sovereign bottling from Hunter Laing contains whisky drawn from a single refill barrel which was filled in March 1987 and cracked open in November 2016. 235 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Shortbread, marmalade and a touch of milk chocolate.

Palate: Icing sugar, new oak, creamy vanilla.

Finish: Lemon peels and green apples. Oak-y vanilla sticks around for a good few minutes afterwards.
