Very exciting stuff from indie bottler Douglas Laing here – well-aged single grain whisky from the silent Dumbarton distillery! Distilled in the year 2000, this rested in a single hogshead cask for over two decades, and was bottled up in 2022 for the Old Particular series with just 176 bottles released.

Delicate and sweet, with brown sugar, marmalade, cinnamon butter, and Scottish tablet.
Palate
Runny honey, vanilla buttercream, and fudge.

Baking spices return on the finish, alongside toffee penny.
