Singleton of Dufftown 18

A delicious 18 year old Speyside malt from Dufftown, and one of the older iterations that we've seen from the distillery. Released as part of The Singleton range, it exudes bundles of creamy, malty flavours.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Soft, warming and lusciously fruity, lots of flavour, vanilla sweetness, toffee apples, cocoa beans.

Palate Creamy, vanilla sweetness, aniseed, rich juicy fruit and peppermint.

Finish Long and spicy, cinnamon and apricot.

Reviews for Singleton of Dufftown 18 Year Old
The perfect Speyside!
If you’re a fan of the 12 and 15, you’ll love the 18. Super smooth with notes of cinnamon, caramel, apple and vanilla. You can tell the difference

A Beautiful 18yr Old
I'm a big fan of the Singleton 12 and 15. They are fantastic Speysides and sit comfortably, for me, next to the Glenlivets. The 18 is a big step up from them and has an incredible smoothness to it's quality that really allows the drinker to seek all the amazing flavours that this beauty contains. The nose and palate pick up a lovely array of fruits and the finish is long with a hint of spice. Amazing.

Simple. Smooth. Smashing.
Had this, along with three other eighteen year olds, as a bit of a tasting evening. The cheapest of the four, but by no means the least. Tasting notes (by MoM) were bang on, and while not the most complex, definitely full of flavour. Super smooth, and unpretentious, just right for when you want a good dram, and to be a tad indulgent.

Uneventful but pleasant
Very soft on the smell and taste. The taste you get at the front end just sails on through to the end. I'm still happy with this bottle, it's just very much an easy drinking nice and mild whiskey, nothing to hate but nothing particularly exciting either.

JustTo be enjoyed.
Nice dram, as smooth as a tanner, as a wee Scotsman would say

A favorite
Absolutely delicious, good body, beautiful balance, warm, creamy with pleasant Speyside sharpness; no smoke or peaty flavors at all. Easy drinking. Not cheap, but it is 18 years old! :)

A glad surprise
Truly a great dram for its price. Delicate, aromatic and with no burn or bite at all. To be savoured neat only.
