A straightforward, nutty and malty single malt from Speyside, the Singleton of Dufftown was released to replace the Singleton of Auchroisk. It’s aged in a high proportion of European oak casks.
If you're looking to use this little stunner in a cocktail, then you could do a lot worse than making a classic Highball. Or how about a signature Singleton serve?
Reach for the Peach
45ml of The Singleton
30ml of peach iced tea
90ml of soda water
Optional: 2 dashes of absinthe
Build all ingredients in an ice-filled Highball glass, give it a good stir, and garnish with a twist of lemon zest.
Malty with cereal/barley sweetness, buttery toast, wood shavings, hay and walnut.
Orange zest spiciness perks up a malty core of nuts, oak and toffee, hints of cut grass.
Oaky, rich with good length, some fruit lingers.

Awesome drop at the right price. An easy dram for any occasion or even just because.
The description is accurate of the taste. A good alternative to chivas regal 12 yo. Great deal when on special.
I just love it, so 5 *****. Smooth, sweet, and ticks all my boxes. I'm not sure about value for money though.
wow what a love/hate review board on this bottle. Not much in between here but looks like its either loved or hated. But Im going to change that and give it an in betweener. I wouldnt go out of my for this nor truly look forward to it. That said its not ast all a disappointment and is certainly palatable and good enough. And for the price one cant go wrong. I can enjoy it but certainly wouldnt be any first choice.
Pritty ordinary for its age it don't have the complexity or flavours for its age and price point you can do much better for your money
