Dufftown 10 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)
A tasty 10 year old single malt from the Dufftown Distillery, which has been independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! A wonderfully fruity expression, packing notes of peach and and pineapple alongside waves of malt. If you take a look at the label, you might see some familiar faces - including some a few more than on previous batches!
Batch 4 is a release of 1,670 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
It’s a tropical fruit jamboree: pineapples and tinned peaches. All with a certain briney quality. Sounds odd but it works.
Palate
Creamy texture with a sweet fruitiness (more peaches) with pepper and cinnamon.
Finish
A big whack of liquorice at the end, like an old-fashioned sweet shop.
