A bottle from the 1980s of 8 year old Dufftown Glenlivet whisky from the days when adding "Glenlivet" onto the end of you distillery name was in. Also in fashion around then was New Romantics, leg-warmers and The Smiths. How times have changed.

As Glenlivet is one of my favourite whiskies introduced to me by my father-in-law, I have been given a bottle of 30 year old 8 year old Dufftown Glenlivet. A superb whisky, just slight smoke but tremendous taste and smooth. Opened it before realising its value! Well here's for another.
