Bourbon
An indie single malt from the Dufftown Distillery, which is something of a rarity! This one was distilled in 2009, and then left to mature in a pair of bourbon barrels for a whole decade. Eventually, in 2020 Càrn Mòr bottled up the Speysider for its Strictly Limited series, with an outturn of 470 bottles at 47.5% ABV.
Buttered banana bread and cut grass, with zingy apple skin and pear and almond tart.
Milk chocolate orange alongside oily malt, with passion fruit cream bringing fruitiness.
Lime and coconut sponge cake, with zesty lime jelly in there alongside vanilla icing.
