A tropical Speysider here from Dufftown, distilled in 2008 and matured for a decade! It was initially aged in American oak before being transferred to a single sherry-seasoned cask for a finishing period. It was bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. in 2019 for The Cooper's Choice series, with 354 bottles released at 56% ABV. Lots of ripe fruit and sherried spices await!
Lychee and buttery caramel, with toasted coconut alongside touches of polished oak.
Freshly baked banana bread and ripe pineapple, balanced by dry spice and tart red fruit.
Buttery biscuits and more banana linger.
