From Baraboo (what a great name), Wisconsin comes this rye whiskey distilled by Driftless Glen. Part of its Distiller's Select range, this single-barrel, spicy rye has been bottled up at cask strength – a punchy 62.5%. With tonnes of character, if you're not drinking it neat then this rye whiskey ought to stand out in a Manhattan, or an Old Fashioned.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sticky brown sugar, spicy pepper and warm baking spices, with light wafts of vanilla.

Palate: Light caramelised honey, with plenty of peppery rye spice, cacao nibs, and a warm heat building.

Finish: Complex and characterful, with the spices and sugar notes lingering.
