Domaine des Hautes Glaces RØØF24 Square Malted Single Rye Whisky
RØØF24 Square is a French single rye whisky made entirely from malted rye grown across the Gabert and Vulson sites at Domaine des Hautes Glaces. The rye underwent a 140-hour fermentation before double distillation over a wood fire. Initially matured in Cognac casks, the whisky was finished for five months in two Vin Jaune casks. It was gradually reduced over several years to a natural bottling strength of 50.6% ABV, with 899 bottles released.

Nose
Black pepper, wet wood, Vin Jaune, toasted grain, and earthy spice.
Palate
Creamy rye spice, curry, roasted grain, nuts, yellow fruit, and oxidative wine notes.
Finish
Softened rye, almond dragée, pepper.
