Smile 100% Rye Whisky

100% rye whisky from... Holland?!

That's right, this Discovery Road bottling of 7 year old 100% rye whisky comes from Holland. Dominic Roskrow, whisky writer and founder of the Craft Distillers' Alliance, started the selection to enlighten us to new world whisky from places that wouldn't be the first to come to mind when you think of whisky production. However, these lesser known locations do make some mighty fine whiskies, and the Discovery Road Smile is a perfect example. Spicy rye, soft warm toffee and red liquorice notes. Delicious.
