Single Malt
Scotland

A 1994 Glen Moray bottled by Duncan Taylor. A fairly 'naked' single malt, by which we mean light with very little cask influence. This allows one to get closer to the actual distillate.
Quite raw and very close to the grains, with a lot of porridge, oatcakes and various breads as well as a little mead. It’s not often that we’re as close as that to the raw materials when tasting a 17-year-old malt whisky.
Plain barley sugar and lemon squash, with something eau-de-vie-ish. Touches of vanilla.
medium long, becoming grassier. Herbal tea, pepper.
A malt full of clean, clear flavours.
