“I must say that it's my favourite blend. Much more tasty, having a subtle nose and with bigger body than the counterparts within the same price range! Chewy & delicate finish make this dram a perfect 12-13 pounds blend for everyday sipping:)”

    Reviews for Dewar's White Label

    Nice blend

    Smooth and elvish taste

    New favourite

Love my single malts but as far as blended whiskies go Dewars white label is tasty slightly smokey good every day drink at a good price. I've been drinking Johnnies Walker red as my decently priced blended whisky for far too many years (old habits). About a year and a half ago I started buying a different blended whisky every week and tried many, such as J&B, Grants, Chivas regal, William Lawson, Bells, Famous grouse to name a few and when I tried Dewars there was something about it that has at the moment made it my regular drink other than my more expensive malts. Good drop.

    Surprisingly bad

Been a whisky drinker for over 25 years and as much as I believe my favourite single malts can't be beat, I admit that there are blends that are more than just drinkable: A JW Red I find quite nice and the Black even really good and I enjoy Teacher's as well. But this - I had it on a plane and asked what it was: I couldn't believe they'd serve such a bad whisky - is just baaaaaad. I hadn't tasted Dewar's before but it's harsh, tastesa lot like alcohol and I'd wish the finish was even shorter... It's just asking for lots of ice and coke and then if you just wanna get hammered it's probably okay. But if you love whisky, I'd stay away...

    What happened?

This is not the White Label I have been drinking for years. Now I taste a definite woody, smoky flavor that was not there before. It's time to switch to a different brand.
