A 2008 vintage Highland single malt matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead and bottled at 57.1% ABV. This is Decadent Drinks having a bit of a laugh with the name, but taking the liquid seriously. Rich, modern sherry cask whisky with clarity and balance, filled into 210 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Plum jam, preserves, walnut oil, jasmine tea, dark chocolate and dried herbs.
Palate
Dark fruits, raisins, black tea, spice, walnut and a hint of old Armagnac.
Finish
Long and spiced, with chocolate, dried fruit and lingering oak.
