Description

26-year-old single malt from Deanston, independently bottled by LIMITED. Distilled in 1996, the whisky matured in a single bourbon hogshead which remained locked in a Perthshire warehouse until it was cracked open in 2023.

Nose

Butterscotch and salted fudge are joined by zesty citrus, plums, and apples, with a dusting of warming spice in tow.

Palate

Buttery lemon curd softens hearty notes of spicy candied ginger and nutmeg, while toffee apples and liquorice tangle beneath.

Finish

Warming spices linger, with hints of fennel and anise.

One of the best drams I've ever had

Without a doubt one of the best Deanston's I've ever tasted. The packaging is also fantastic, and love the detail included on the bottle. Highly recommended
