Deanston 23 Year Old Oloroso Cask Matured
A well-matured single malt from Deanston, which spent 23 years of rest in Oloroso sherry casks. This lengthy stint in these sherry casks has allowed rich dried fruit, decadent chocolate and festive spice notes to develop. Definitely one to savour.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Blackcurrant jam, Christmas cake, slightly floral at points - citrus blossom and vanilla pod.
Palate
Crunchie Bars, almond pastries, melted butter, cinnamon sticks, a touch of autumn leaf and new leather.
Finish
Dense sherry, tobacco and honey.
