After its initial maturation, this 14 Year Old Deanston was treated to a finish in Spanish oak casks! Thanks to the cask influence, you'll find a good helping of spice and nuts to support the already honeyed Highlander.
Nose: Candied nuts, praline and honey, with a touch of crisp apple and oak spice.
Palate: Dry oak spice and oily nuts, a dusting of cocoa and nutmeg alongside toffee.
Finish: Orchard fruit returns on a dry, spiced finish.
