Description
This Deanston single cask single malt was distilled in 2010 and matured for a dozen years in a refill hogshead. The Highland Scotch whisky was bottled in 2023 by Douglas Laing for its Old Particular series. An outturn of 313 bottles, naturally coloured and non-chill filtered.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Coconut cream mingles with damp, spiced oak, malt, and oat biscuits.
Palate
Lemon meringue pie with a sweet, sugary style, plus juicy barley.
Finish
Long. A citric acid tang is balanced by a home-baking and milk chocolate sweetness.
