Independently-bottled Deanston single malt from Douglas Laing! Distilled in November 2009, this matured in a refill hogshead for 12 years before it was bottled for the Old Particular range in September 2022. A release of 275 bottles, without added colour or chill filtration.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Bold barley, toasted sourdough, soaked oats, and vanilla cream.

Palate

The vanilla continues joined by creamy fudge and dense biscuity malt. A hint of pink grapefruit follows in time, with nutty granola in tow.

Finish

Rich and roasty, with layers of charred oak, candied nuts, and buttery flapjack.
