This single malt was distilled at Deanston in October 2008 and left to slumber in a single barrel for a dozen years. In March 2021, the cask was opened to release a total of 204 bottles for the independent The Single Malts of Scotland collection.
Sweet, wintery spice, baked apple with nutty, oily oak.
Pear pastries, a sharp note of citrus peel with underlying notes of herbaceous oak and spiced honey.
Fiery ginger kicks in, with cinnamon, nutmeg, and plenty of dried fruit.
