This is a Cooper's Choice bottling of 10 year old single malt from Deanston, initially aged in American oak before enjoying a finishing period in a Sherry cask. It was distilled in December 200 and bottled in 2016 by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. with an outturn of 300 bottles.
Oily (and slightly grassy) malt, cherry bakewells, Christmas pudding.
Poached pears, chocolate sauce, Alpine herbs and dried fruit.
A lingering peppery warmth.
