Hailing from an undisclosed Islay distillery, this single malt matured for a generous 29 years, including a finish in a custom-made oloroso sherry octave cask. You know what that means? It was bottled up by Darkness! The sherry cask brings rich notes of dates, stewed fruits, and tinned peaches to the coastal, tarry smoke at its core.
Earthy coffee grounds and seaside bonfire, with grilled stone fruits, dates, and dark, sticky caramel.
Sweet, stewed stone fruits join dark, tangy berries, with waves of dense, tarry smoke joined by salted dark chocolate.
