Nose Earthy notes of coffee grounds and cacao and some pebbly minerality open the way for layers of stewed fruits and sweet peat smoke.
Palate Buttered sourdough, smothered with raspberry jam, joined by darker notes of blueberries and salted tablet. There are prunes and dates too, with thick, tarry smoke aplenty.
Finish Charcoal and bonfire embers last an age, coupled with syrupy poached stone fruits and a trickle of toffee.
