Dalmunach 10 Year Old Oloroso Cask Finish (Darkness)
This single malt from Speyside's Dalmunach distillery spent 10 years maturing, including a stay in a teeny little oloroso sherry octave. Smaller surface area means greater interaction between whisky and wood, and you'll find splendid fruity, nutty, chocolatey depth here. A release of 98 bottles from Darkness.

Nose
Raspberries, blackberries, cinnamon and oak.
Palate
Juicy, fruity, nutty, then notes of coffee and dark chocolate emerge.
Finish
Chocolate mousse and gentle oakiness on the finish.
