This Dalmore Vintage 2009 single malt Scotch whisky was matured for 15 years in American white oak bourbon barrels and then finished in Matusalem sherry casks and Graham’s 10-year-old Tawny Port pipes. It was bottled in 2024 at 48.9% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Whispers of Manuka honey, dark plum and cracked black pepper, and hints of clove.
Palate
Morello cherries and dates, elevated with notes of candied Seville orange, fresh figs and light cacao.
Finish
Rich plum complemented by moist ginger cake, roast chestnut, and soft wood spice.
