Description

Three cask types contribute to this single malt from Dalmore’s Ensemble Collection. Following an initial maturation in American white oak bourbon casks, the whisky is divided between first-fill bourbon casks, tawny Port pipes and Matusalem sherry casks. Those three components are then brought back together and bottled at 40% ABV.

Nose

Heaps of tangy, zesty fruit with notes of dried cranberry, orange peel, and cherry chocolate.

Palate

Still fruity with dark berry compote and stewed plums. Hints of leathery oak creep in, with creamy barley and buttered shortbread.
