Wow.... I am a speyside fan usually I'm not so keen on the burn or pettiness of island whiskies, or the sharpness of someml grain whisky. So the aroma of this entices straight away, a zest fruitcake hits first. Then a warmth of a winter oven and the odour of a rich alcohol enriched cake for Christmas. First dram is smoot as velvet and leaves a pleasant vanilla taste in the mouth. Let it warm to the air and a character of warm mince pie and cream comes through, this is spot on a lovely lovely whisky I need more
