Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Rich Christmas cake notes on the nose with further aromas of rum-soaked raisins, dried currants and brandy cream. The palate is rich and chocolatey underpinned by warm winter spices and black cherries. The finish is as long as would be expected with notes of sandalwood and home-made toffees.

Magnificent
Until I had this, my favorites were two from Glenmorangie: Claret and Claret 21. They now hold a respectable 2nd and 3rd place in my heart, as Dalmore 1973 easily displaced them.

This was my first Dalmore, and I consider it a privilege to enjoy a spirit like this. I hope you all get to do the same, some day.
