Dalmore 13 Year Old 2004 (casks 93151 & 93152) - Dun Bheagan (Ian Macleod)

13 year old Dalmore single malt, independently bottled by Ian Macleod for the Dun Bheagan range. Interestingly, this was finished in Pomerol wine casks, imparting a gentle fruitiness to the whisky. Just 511 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Toasted oak, orange peel, plenty of caramel notes.

Palate

Red berry and yet more orange, now joined by a helping of spicy ginger.

Finish

Milky coffee and shortbread.
