When midnight struck 1 January 2000, the liquid was put into an American oak bourbon barrel. Later it was transferred into a Matusalem oloroso sherry cask by master distiller Richard Patterson before it was bottled up in 2012 at 57.7% ABV. Only 1,263 bottles were ever released.
