Distilled in 1995, Dalmore's Age of Exploration was aged in white oak barrels and finished in Madeira casks for three years, before a final year spent resting in Matusalem Oloroso Sherry butts before bottling. Very rich stuff!

Notes of cedar, tobacco and chocolate notes on the nose, alongside bitter marmalade, malt and toffee apples. Hints of cocoa dust and tarte tatin.
Orange juice and dried peels, stem ginger, malt and allspice.
Medium length with sweet spices and orange peel on the tail.
Smooth very warn, without the burn Strong oak with melded fruitiness Oak and date fruit after taste, it lasted until I brushed my teeth
